- ➤ Fun Bus is hosting the Holly Jolly Trolley tour on Dec. 28 at their headquarters (2188 E. Main St.) in Lancaster. Families will enjoy carols, giveaways, popcorn, and a best pajamas contest during this festive holiday ride. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ Today, the Fairfield County Foundation awarded $65,000 in grants to 14 local food pantries using funds from the George and Dollie L. Zimpfer Memorial Fund and proceeds from the 250 Plates Community Meal. CEO Amy Eyman said the grants help maintain vital food resources amid changing funding conditions. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

- ➤ Health officials report that Hudson River Foods is recalling Doughy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough sold in Ohio and 14 other states for potential salmonella contamination; the recall covers 12-oz packages with a best-by date of July 4 (a measure to protect vulnerable consumers) and continues in effect. - ➤ Bloom-Carroll’s senior linebacker Aidan Scholz and Amanda-Clearcreek’s running back Tommy Stai earned first team All-Ohio honors on Dec. 10 when the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association named teams for Divisions III, IV, and V.
