They advise asking for help if you cannot shovel safely as winter storms bring more snowfall across the state.

Lancaster Eagle-Gazette has opened a fan poll to name the Boys Basketball Preseason Player of the Year with eight nominees competing for the title during the 2025-2026 season.
The survey runs from 6 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Friday — fans may vote multiple times and the winner will be revealed after the poll ends.
On Dec. 1, the Fairfield Union girls’ basketball team beat Chillicothe by a score of 54 to 14 by forcing 34 turnovers — building a strong lead with plays from Maddi Mitchell and Taylor Smeck.
They improved their record to 2 to 0 and will use their full-court press in league play — aiming to perform well in upcoming matches.
