GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ After a 43-day government shutdown ended November 12, Ohio SNAP benefits were restored as the USDA indicated most recipients would receive funds within 24 hours—Ohio's Job and Family Services issued $66.8 million in partial payments to 364,000 households and 1.45 million Ohioans now receive benefits with an average monthly amount of $186.02.
