- ➤ Robert 'Lance' Meyer was inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in recognition of his military service and his support for local veterans. The honor acknowledges his long-standing contributions to our community. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ St. Bernadette Catholic School in Lancaster earned Heart Safe accreditation on Nov. 5 after completing Community Heart Watch's program which trains staff and students in CPR and AED use+ the school now conducts regular drills and reviews its cardiac emergency plan. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Ohio’s MRSS program now helps children in all 88 counties when they face a mental or emotional crisis—expanding from 56 counties so that trained professionals arrive within 60 minutes. Parents, teachers and police can call the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline to get help when a child or teen is in distress. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ ByHeart recalled two batches of its Whole Nutrition Infant Formula after infant botulism cases were reported in 10 states—with 83 cases overall and 13 linked to the product—to prevent any risk to babies. The formula is sold at stores like Walmart and Target (Ohio has not seen any cases) and customers are urged to stop using the recalled cans. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
