- ➤ Local food banks are preparing for a surge in demand when SNAP and WIC benefits will pause on Saturday, November 1—following a one-month federal shutdown. Columbus City Council approved a $25,000 emergency allocation to support families who rely on these food programs in Franklin County. ABC6
- ➤ The Fairfield County Foundation will hold its annual 36-Hour Give fundraising event from Dec. 2 to Dec. 3 and will offer a record $100K in matching funds to boost local nonprofits' donations.
