EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A new pre-apprenticeship plumbing program will launch for ten Fairfield County high school seniors to offer classroom, lab and mentorship experiences that prepare them for plumbing careers. The initiative is a collaboration between the Fairfield County Workforce Center, Freeland Foundation and Freeland Contracting Company — aiming to give students hands-on training and industry knowledge for future opportunities. - ➤ Bloom-Carroll won the Mid-State League-Buckeye Division title with a 28-17 win over Hamilton Township after forcing five turnovers and slowing the opponents following an early 65-yard drive.
