Canal Winchester Schools is expanding its Handle With Care program by partnering with local first responders to alert school administrators when students experience traumatic events outside school.

Gov. DeWine signed an executive order on Tuesday, Oct.
13 that lets Ohio colleges allow class of 2022 athletes to compete beyond the NCAA’s current eligibility rules, giving institutions the option to override the restriction for fairness.
The Social Security Administration announced a 3.6% COLA for 2027 that will boost Ohio benefits by up to $176 million per month, with Social Security payments rising in January and SSI benefits on Dec.
31, affecting over 2.6 million recipients with an average increase of about $75 monthly.
