Good morning, Lancaster.

The Rotary Club of Lancaster received a $10,000 donation from Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan—supporting its $1M plan for an all-access playground at Miller Park that honors longtime president Ron Keaton.

The project has raised more than half of the needed funds and still seeks additional donations.

Connie Smith, a Fair Board director, said the Fairfield County Fair has long played a central role in local history—marking decades of traditions and shared memories.

The Ohio Chamber of Commerce study shows central Ohio data centers spurred $40 billion in private investments with over 95,000 jobs and nearly $12 billion added to GDP last year.

The report projects over 130,000 jobs by 2030—if investments in workforce training increase—and notes that grid reliability and community trust are key for future growth.
