- ➤ Residents in Lancaster raced in the 'A Wheelie Good Time for Wheelie Good Causes' event more than a month after the floods, raising over $60,000 to help the canceled festival and cover damage at the Harcum House (an advocacy center for abused children). ABC6

- ➤ After the Sept. 6 drawing produced no winner, the Powerball jackpot has grown to $1.8 billion—making it the second largest ever—and now draws players aiming to match five white balls and the red Powerball.
