Good morning, Lancaster.

Lancaster police responded Friday evening to a barricade at a home on the 900 block of Fairfield Avenue—where a man possibly armed with a gun was barricaded inside and the public was asked to avoid the area.

Lancaster police said 39-year-old Nathaniel Woodrum (charged with misdemeanor domestic violence, obstructing official business, and aggravated menacing) surrendered after a four-hour standoff at a Fairfield Avenue home today when he reportedly threatened a family member with a gun.

Lancaster's Golden Gales lost 30–21 to Marysville on Friday as senior Brady Carper ran for 110 yards and two touchdowns—his 54-yard run sparked the Monarchs' lead—while coach Brian Schoonover said missed tackles hindered his team's play.

Amanda-Clearcreek football beat Zane Trace 25—7 in Chillicothe as the team jumped out to a 19—0 lead with aggressive offense and strong defense that kept the opponent in check.

The win, following an 0—2 start, boosts team confidence as they prepare for league play next week.
