- ➤ Today, Tiffany Ealy joined Ohio University Lancaster’s School of Nursing as a new assistant professor, bringing more than a decade of nursing and education experience and pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership at Franklin University — expected to complete in December. She credits her mother’s work at a long-term care facility as the inspiration that led her to a career in nursing — an influence that guides her teaching. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The CDC says mosquitoes are the world's deadliest animal — they spread illnesses like West Nile, dengue and Zika. The Ohio Department of Health reports 59 types in Ohio and urges residents to remove standing water from yards — a key step to lower mosquito-borne disease risks. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ Aspire Wellness Integrative Health (formerly Desire Wellness Group) held its grand opening on August 21 at 2658 N. Columbus Street in Lancaster and now offers services such as functional medical testing, nutrition counseling, and stress management to address root causes.
