- ➤ A Fairfield County grand jury indicted John Scott and Holly McDaniel on charges connected to the August 9 shooting death of Gary Franke—a neighbor known for helping others—with Scott admitting to shooting him and McDaniel accused of helping hide the body, and both remain in jail. ABC6
