A Fairfield County grand jury indicted John Scott and Holly McDaniel on charges connected to the August 9 shooting death of Gary Franke—a neighbor known for helping others—with Scott admitting to shooting him and McDaniel accused of helping hide the body, and both remain in jail.

Lancaster high school football rallied from two setbacks to win 21-20 over Hilliard Darby on Friday after blocking an extra point and staging a late drive.
