  • Fairfield Union and Liberty Union high school football teams prepare for the season opener on Aug. 22 as Fairfield Union looks to build on its playoff run and Liberty Union aims to improve after a 2-8 season. Coaches Andy Clark and Dan Shirey expect challenges — including multiple road games and tough non-league opponents — that will test the teams’ preparations.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
  • Lancaster girls cross country team opened their season at the OHSAA Preseason Meet with a strong performance despite the heat—placing second in the varsity race with Harper Allen finishing third and fifth in the Open race led by Junior Katie Coy—and will next compete in Centerville on Aug. 23.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
