- ➤ Ohio law now requires drivers to stop for school buses with flashing red lights; on roads with two lanes all cars must halt while on roads with four lanes drivers on the same side must remain 10 feet behind the bus — failing to do so may result in fines up to $500 and a court appearance. NBC4
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Dengue fever is a mosquito-transmitted illness that resulted in seven travel-related cases in Ohio in 2025, with patients showing aches, nausea and rash that usually lasted two to seven days. Health officials advised Lancaster residents to prevent bites by using EPA-registered repellent—emphasizing that the virus does not spread through casual contact. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
