- ➤ Flash flooding hit the FIDO dog boarding facility on the 1900 block of Granville Pike in Lancaster on Sunday, forcing the fire department to evacuate people and dogs while one dog, Scooby, is missing — heavy waters damaged the fence and pushed a dumpster 50 yards. NBC4

- ➤ The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife finished surveys of lakes in Fairfield County to rate sport fish by size and abundance. Buckeye Lake got fair scores for several species, Oakthorpe Lake showed excellent size in Largemouth Bass, Lake Logan earned good ratings, and Rush Creek Lake had fair to good results—helping local anglers know where to fish.
