Good morning, Lancaster.

Ohio law forbids drivers from holding a cellphone while driving except in one of seven specific instances outlined in the driver manual (such as calling emergency services or using a single-touch function) and drivers who break the rule may face fines, license points or a suspension. Drivers under 18 may use a phone only for navigation or emergency calls (which means only hands-free use is allowed).

Ohio residents can beat the heat by placing box fans on the hot side of their house to push out hot air—while inward facing fans on the cool side pull in cooler air—an energy-efficient method that uses about 75 watts per hour compared to air conditioners.

Other tips suggest closing blinds and adjusting cooking times to further reduce indoor heat and help save on energy bills.
