- ➤ Local groups are asking residents to donate books and supplies for the homeless tomorrow in honor of Allen Chapel founder Scipio Smith. His legacy of education, previously honored with a downtown statue, has inspired outdoor library stands and blessing boxes across Fairfield County. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ Today at Fairfield Christian Church (5:05 a.m. ET), Ben Fuller's Black Sheep Tour donated $500 to The Salvation Army to support local services in Fairfield County. The donation is part of nearly 30 stops designed to strengthen community ties through faith and fellowship. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ Fairfield County residents can visit the Master Gardener Plant Sale at the Ed Sands Farm Bureau Building starting at 9 a.m. on May 30 to enjoy donated plants from local growers, while OSU Extension offers hay testing (until July 30) and free virtual food preservation webinars beginning June 9. - ➤ The 15th annual Legacy Dinner, a major fundraiser for local youth programs, is set for June 11 at CEC Turf & Tractor in Canal Winchester. The event will feature appetizers, an auction preview, and dinner to support 4H clubs and school programs. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
