➤ The Lancaster baseball team lost 6-5 in a district semifinal on May 26 after holding a three-run lead until a Dublin Coffman rally in the seventh inning & coach Corey Conn said the tough loss stings after clinching the Ohio Capital Conference-Buckeye Division championship. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
➤ Tuesday, May 26 saw Fairfield Union baseball beat Gallia Academy 2-1 in eight innings at Ohio University’s Bob Wren Stadium to claim its first district championship since 1999. The Falcons will face Logan Elm on Tuesday, June 2, at 3 p.m. in a regional semifinal. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
