➤ AAA reported on Friday, May 22 that gas prices in Ohio hit a four-year high of $4.76 per gallon ahead of Memorial Day weekend — the state ranks among the priciest markets with 45 million travelers expected. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

➤ Lancaster High School will recognize 30 Class of 2026 students who earned summa cum laude honors during a 10 a.m. commencement ceremony today at Fulton Field. Two student speakers, Jade Piko as Honor Graduate and Paige Franklin for Career Tech, will address their classmates. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
➤ Amanda-Clearcreek High School held its 2026 graduation ceremony on May 22 in its gymnasium. The full gym hosted inspiring speeches from school leaders, including the class president, vice-president, and principal. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
