EDUCATION NEWS

➤ Fairfield Federal employees are volunteering in OSU Extension’s Real Money. Real World. program (a hands-on simulation) to help students at Fairfield County schools learn budgeting skills today; the simulation covers decisions on housing, transportation and food. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ USPS reviewed video of a carrier tossing packages near a Hilltop home after repeated complaints from resident George. Local management said it will take appropriate action to fix these issues while George remains hopeful for better service soon. ABC6

SPORTS NEWS

➤ Lancaster softball won its third district title on May 21 after rallying from a 6+0 deficit with an eight-run fifth inning to win 17-11 at Berne Union High School. The team, with a 16-game win streak, will face Lakewood at 5 p.m. on May 27 at Olentangy High School. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
