  • Amanda-Clearcreek High School senior Emma Kern, the valedictorian with a 4.25 GPA, will attend the University of Cincinnati in the fall to major in allied health sciences and become a pediatric occupational therapist—she said family medical issues influenced her choice.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

  • Fairfield Christian Academy’s baseball team won its third consecutive Mid-State League-Cardinal Division title and began tournament play with a 5-0 win over Fisher Catholic on May 20 at Beavers Field. Caleb White pitched a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts while teammates Josh Witte and Colin White each recorded two hits.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
