- ➤ On May 7 at Fisher Catholic High School, more than 500 people attended the Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber's 2026 Awards honoring local business and community leaders. Margie Donnell and Laura Tussing received top honors amid over 30 nominations across seven award categories. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Fairfield County held its annual memorial service on May 8 to honor five law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in downtown Lancaster. The event remembered officers from different eras and brought the community together. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ The annual Fairfield County Police Memorial Service will honor fallen local law enforcement officers with a ceremony in Lancaster. Officials say the event will pay tribute to those who served the community. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
