- ➤ Lancaster High School's percussion ensemble will perform concerts on May 8 and May 9 at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium — featuring guest artist Gregg Bissonette — and will offer a free drum clinic on May 9 at 10 a.m. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ Tickets are on sale for the Lancaster Festival running July 17 to 25 at venues including Ohio University Lancaster and First United Methodist Church. GRAMMY Award-winning Lady A will headline the finale on July 25 and Broadway stars will perform on July 21. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

- ➤ Chevron CEO warned that global oil supply issues may push gas prices and cause shortages, with Ohio prices hitting $4.81 per gallon on May 6. Amazon is offering members a 20-cent discount per gallon on Fridays through May 29 (at select BP, ampm, and Thorntons stations) to offset rising costs. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

- ➤ Fairfield Career Center juniors experienced hands-on STEAM activities at the 2026 COSI Science Festival kickoff on April 28.
