- ➤ The Walnut Township Local Board of Education is set to fill the vacancy left by Thomas Cumbow's resignation as it begins interviews and plans a meeting at 6:00 p.m. May 4 at Laker Learning Center; the new member will serve until Dec. 31, 2027. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
