- ➤ Ohio gas prices fell for a second week when the average for regular fuel dropped to $3.70 on Monday (down from $3.83), remaining about 10% below the national rate of $4.12. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

- ➤ Leigh Miller of Amanda was honored for 55 years of 4-H service at a conference on March 21. OSU Extension offers soil sampling help and reminds residents of pesticide testing at the Ag Center on April 14 and a plant sale at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds on May 30. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, Lancaster launched a sidewalk repair reimbursement program to help property owners fix uneven walkways and hazards. Owners can receive 100% reimbursement for tree root damage repairs — or 50% for other eligible repairs up to preset limits. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ Lancaster is rolling out a new brand and tagline 'Love Our Lancaster,' unveiled by Mayor Don McDaniel and Service Safety Director Carrie Woody to boost pride. Officials plan gradual updates to signage, decals and documents while the new logo features a blend of the restored clock tower and downtown fountain. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
