A study from Textla found that Ohio residents submitted 859 spam complaints per 100,000 people about unwanted calls and texts in 2024—the highest rate in the nation.
The research analyzed data from the FTC and FCC and recommended using call-blocking apps and reporting spam.

In high school sports, Fairfield Christian Academy beat Berne Union 3-0 as Brayden Stem pitched seven shutout innings, and Liberty Union won 15-0 over Hamilton Township in softball.
The Golden Gales placed second at the Rocky Brands Invitational while Fisher Catholic took first in the small school division track events.
