  • Lancaster man Kyle Varney, 26, was indicted by a Fairfield County grand jury on 18 felony charges including four counts of murder—charges he faces after a Feb. 25 shooting that left two men dead and a woman injured at a Lancaster home.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

  • Lancaster Festival's board named Ohio-native Gary LeVox as the headliner for the Premier Concert on July 26 at Ohio University Lancaster. Tickets for the event will go on sale May 1.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

ECONOMY NEWS

  • State gas prices slightly declined last week with an average of $3.09 per gallon for regular fuel on Monday, down from $3.10 per the U.S. Energy Information Administration — while the price remains lower than the national average of $3.16 and is 34 cents higher than the previous month.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

HEALTH NEWS

  • Ohio hospitals are now required to post exact service prices online today as the state's new healthcare transparency law takes effect—lawmakers say the measure will help prevent unexpected costs for patients. The legislation, approved unanimously and signed by Gov. Mike DeWine, marks the end of a two-and-a-half-year effort to boost price clarity in healthcare.  ABC6
  • The FDA recalled Trader Joe’s Hot Honey Mustard Dressing because its label did not list peanuts, soy, sesame and wheat. The recalled product was sold in limited Trader Joe’s stores in Ohio and 16 other states, and customers can return it for a full refund or discard it.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
