- ➤ Mega Millions will debut a new game structure on April 5 with a $50 million starting jackpot and a $5 ticket price; players will choose five white balls from 70 and one Mega Ball from 24 to improve their odds and get a built-in multiplier on non-jackpot wins. The new prize matrix will take effect on April 8 as Ohio players will no longer be able to add a separate Megaplier option. NBC4

- ➤ Taxpayers in Lancaster have just over two weeks to file their federal and state tax returns by April 15—if more time is needed, they can request an extension to file until October 15 while still paying any taxes due by the original deadline.
