- ➤ A state ban on open burning in unincorporated areas from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. during March, April, May, October, and November is in effect to reduce wildfire risks, and Lancaster residents are advised to check with local officials for any restrictions (the ban does not apply in city limits). - ➤ Millersport senior Ty Johnston was named third team All-Ohio by the OPSMA for Division VII boys' basketball on March 25. Other local players received honorable and special mention statewide in Divisions IV, VI and VII. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
