- ➤ The Fairfield County Health Department awarded 139 food safety Gold Medal awards to food service operations that ended the year with no critical food code violations and two or fewer non-critical problems—winners include Bay Food Market, Double Edge Brewing Co., L-City Coffee and more—after thorough inspections confirmed high safety standards. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Millersport's softball team posted a 20-3 win over Liberty Christian on Tuesday, improving their record to 3-0 as they continue the season. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
- ➤ Bloom-Carroll junior Whitney Passen earned second team All-Ohio honors in Division III by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association after averaging 15.0 points per game and making 77 3 pointers this season—she helped lead the Bulldogs to a second straight Central District championship.
