Harcum House, a nonprofit for children and families affected by abuse and trauma, is $57,000 short of its $1 million goal to purchase and renovate the former Hunter Trace Center building.
The campaign launched last fall and now serves about 450 children a year—community help remains essential to finish the project.
🎓 Education
Ohio University Lancaster postponed its Celebrate Women 2025 event scheduled for March 21, citing guidance from the Department of Education and proposed state legislation that require changes in DEI practices—measures linked to recent Trump administration directives.
The university said it will review its programming and work with sponsors to plan future events.

Realtor.com data show that December home sales in Fairfield County reached a median price of $309,850—a 0.4% drop from November's $311,000 and a 12.7% increase from last December.
Single-family homes sold for a higher median price while condominiums and townhomes saw a 10% decrease as recorded sales climbed by 34.1%.
