- ➤ OSU Extension urged residents to wait to work wet garden soils while pesticide testing is scheduled at the Ag Center on March 24 and April 14 and a 4-H Easter Eggstravaganza will feature crafts and an egg hunt on March 28. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Ohio gas prices rose last week to an average of $3.46 per gallon from $2.77, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said. Last month’s prices were 73 cents lower and 24% less than a year ago, while the national rate was 1.1% higher. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

- ➤ The MORPC report shows that air quality alert days in central Ohio doubled over the past year due to rising fine particle pollution and challenging weather conditions.
