- ➤ Statewide Youth Art Month exhibits honor Southeast Ohio student artists (including those taught by Lancaster City Schools) with awards presented at a recognition ceremony on Saturday, Mar. 14 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. - ➤ Hummingbirds are migrating from Mexico and Central America and will reach Ohio between mid-April and mid-May. Hummingbird Central’s interactive map uses citizen reports to track sightings with the ruby-throated being most common — helping locals know when to spot them. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

- ➤ The American Red Cross is asking local donors to help ease the national blood shortage by donating during March, offering a $15 Amazon gift card incentive.
