Friends of Lancaster Parks recognized longtime volunteer Joe Carter with the Pearl of the Parks award today for teaching outdoor skills and leading community projects at Alley Park (since 2010).

Today at the AHA! Children’s Museum, families using SNAP benefits can visit for $3 per person (up to four members) under the Museums for All initiative to boost access to hands-on learning.

The discount is funded by The Columbus Foundation’s R. Alvin Stevenson Fund and may expand in the future.
