- ➤ The Fairfield County Cattleman’s Association will host its 37th banquet on March 14 at Harvest Adventures in Bremen with smoked beef brisket and director elections + Lancaster will hold a Jr. Market Beef tagging and weigh-in from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. for local exhibitors. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that Ohio gas prices fell last week, with regular fuel averaging $2.77 per gallon on Monday down from $2.89; the state’s rate remains about 8% below the national average of $3.02. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Fairfield County’s bond rating was upgraded to Aa1 by Moody’s today, reflecting strong fiscal health that promises lower interest rates and more funding options.
