Papa Johns announced during an earnings call on Feb.

26 that it will close about 300 underperforming franchisee-owned locations by the end of 2027 as part of a cost-cutting effort - it remains unclear if any of the 170 Ohio stores will be affected.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, Ohio gas prices fell for a second week with the average price for regular fuel dropping to $2.89 per gallon on Monday and remaining about 1.7 percent below the national average.
