- ➤ According to the U.S. Department of Labor, initial unemployment claims in Ohio fell to 4,839 for the week ending Feb. 21 from 6,933 the week prior, while nationwide claims rose to 212,000 (an increase of 4,000). Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
