  • A six-planet parade featuring Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter will be visible shortly after sunset on Feb. 28 — locals can visit Ohio’s dark sky spots with binoculars or a telescope to catch a clear view.   • Lancaster Wings Inc. expanded its portfolio when owner Larry Tipton acquired three Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in St. Clairsville, Moundsville, and Parkersburg, bringing the total to 13 locations. Operations continue as usual (staffing remains unchanged) so guests can keep enjoying their favorite meals.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

SPORTS NEWS

  • Bloom-Carroll High School named Steve Daulton as its new varsity football coach Tuesday, replacing Jeremy McKinney who resigned last month. Daulton brings 10 years of head coaching experience from Berne Union and Amanda-Clearcreek as he steps in to lead the school’s top state program.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
  • Amanda-Clearcreek's Taylor Evans scored a game-winning layup with 5 seconds left on Tuesday, Feb. 24 in a Central District Division V semifinal, pushing her team to a 42-41 comeback win over Utica + they will face Columbus Academy at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.  Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
