➤ Ohio University Lancaster is offering free non-credit and CEU workshops from February through May that help community members + students and professionals learn skills in grant writing, mental health, financial literacy, and digital tools. Sessions are led by local faculty and industry experts and offer certificates of completion. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ Income-eligible Ohioans may receive one-time energy help under the Winter Crisis Program offered by the Ohio Department of Development and Lancaster Fairfield Community Action. Applicants must schedule a phone appointment and submit required documents by March 31 for assistance with home energy bills. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette

SPORTS NEWS

➤ Eagle-Gazette is hosting a fan vote for its High School Athlete of the Week from 6 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. Friday. Local fans can support standout winter sports performers including candidates from Lancaster and nearby schools. Lancaster Eagle-Gazette
